A snow-removal quote request in Ottawa should answer the first questions.
A useful first message does not need to be long, but it should make the property and the desired outcome visible. Use this checklist to give a provider enough context to ask better follow-up questions.
Start with location and property type
Include the Ottawa neighbourhood or area, whether the site is a home, townhouse, condo, business, or shared property, and who will coordinate the conversation.
Count the surfaces
Name the driveway, lot, sidewalk, walkway, steps, ramp, entrance, loading area, bins, and any route that must connect. Say which ones are highest priority.
Describe access and timing
Mention gates, slopes, tight turns, parked vehicles, shared routes, opening times, resident movement, or delivery access. Say whether the need is one-time, recurring, or seasonal.
Ask about storage and confirmation
Explain where snow can be moved and whether limited space creates a hauling question. Ask what is included, what is separate, how changes are communicated, and what will be confirmed in writing.
