Snow blowing in Ottawa needs a route, not just a machine.
Snow blowing can be a useful approach for a driveway, walkway, or tight property, but the machine is only one part of the plan. Describe the surfaces, access points, and places snow can be moved before comparing a service.
Start with the path, not the equipment
Map the route from the street or parking area to the entrance, steps, bins, and side access. A narrow path or an edge beside a garden, fence, or parked vehicle can matter as much as the amount of snow.
Explain what can and cannot be reached
Mention gates, slopes, stairs, tight turns, uneven edges, and areas where a machine may not fit. This gives a provider a better starting picture without assuming which equipment they use or what they can guarantee.
Plan the landing zone
Moving snow still requires a place for it to go. Note whether the property has a usable side area, a restricted sightline, a shared walkway, or a route that cannot be narrowed after clearing.
